Antonio Gibson Does Little In Loss To 49ers
12 months agoWashington Commanders running back Antonio Gibson and the offense were unable to do much against a stout San Francisco 49ers defense in a 27-10 Week 17 loss. Gibson saw four carries for 19 yards on the ground and caught two of his four targets for 17 yards through the air. This game saw the return of Brian Robinson Jr. for the first time since Week 13, but the 25-year-old Gibson's workload didn't really change all that much. Robinson had 13 touches to Gibson's six in his return, and that should be the pecking order again in the team's final game of the year in Week 18 against the division-rival Dallas Cowboys. At best, Gibson has been an RB3/flex option with minimal upside in deeper fantasy leagues.
