Carolina Panthers running back Miles Sanders has drastically underperformed in his first season with the team, ultimately taking a backseat to Chuba Hubbard.
Ever since his demotion to the No. 2 role, Sanders has earned a steady but drastically reduced share of touches out of the backfield. However, his availability has been threatened after suffering an injury during last Sunday's loss to the Packers.
Will Miles Sanders be available for the Panthers' Week 17 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars? Is Miles Sanders injured? What is the latest Miles Sanders injury news?

Miles Sanders Injury Update for Fantasy Football
Interim head coach Chris Tabor first mentioned Sanders' injury last Sunday, explaining that the veteran running back was sidelined late in the game due to a toe issue.
Sanders was listed on the Panthers' initial injury report this past Wednesday, but he logged full practices all week long. He does not carry an injury designation into Sunday's game and will be active versus Jacksonville.
Miles Sanders Fantasy Football Outlook
As mentioned, Sanders saw his volume drastically reduced earlier in the season. He has just 256 rushing yards and 61 receiving yards since Week 5, ranking as the overall RB51 in fantasy football this year. He remains off the fantasy radar and should be benched (or dropped) in all leagues ahead of Week 17.
On the other hand, Hubbard has been exceptional for Carolina, averaging 20.0 carries, 73.2 rushing yards, 2.0 catches, 18.0 receiving yards, and 0.8 touchdowns over his last five games. The 24-year-old is the Panthers' unwavering workhorse back and should be deployed as an RB2 in most fantasy leagues.
