Green Bay Packers wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks continues to emerge as an intriguing fantasy football option despite a crowded depth chart.
Armed with an increase in opportunities over the last two weeks, Wicks delivered eight catches for 126 yards and one touchdown during that span. However, an injury scare and the potential return of two teammates could impact Wicks' fantasy outlook for Week 17 versus the Chicago Bears.
Will Dontayvion Wicks be available for the Packers' Week 17 game against the Chicago Bears? Is Dontayvion Wicks injured? What is the latest Dontayvion Wicks injury news?

Dontayvion Wicks Injury Update for Fantasy Football
Wicks (chest, ankle) injured himself last Sunday, registering just 39 percent of offensive snaps despite operating as one of the Packers' top receivers.
This week, Wicks missed all three practices. However, the Packers left the door open for him to play by listing him as questionable. We saw a similar scenario last week with teammate Jayden Reed (chest, toe), who missed all three practices, was listed as questionable, and ultimately did not play.
Fantasy managers can expect confirmation on Wicks' status 90 minutes before Sunday Night Football kicks off. The Packers' primetime game makes it difficult for managers to set their lineups and create contingency plans on Sunday morning.
Dontayvion Wicks Fantasy Football Outlook
Fantasy managers should temper their expectations with Wicks this week. For starters, even if active, he'll likely operate as the Packers' No. 3 wide receiver behind Jayden Reed and Romeo Doubs. Although Jordan Love has done a good job spreading the ball around, it will be hard to trust Wicks if he is earning fewer opportunities than Reed, Doubs, Tucker Kraft, Aaron Jones, and AJ Dillon.
Furthermore, Wicks' injury could limit him against the Bears. He missed all three practices this past week, leaving him a step behind in the game-planning process and less prepared to face Chicago. There's also the risk that he could play on a snap count or re-aggravate his injury.
All in all, even if Wicks does play this week, he'll drop to the low-end WR4 tier. Fantasy managers should avoid him in most leagues.
