ANALYSIS: San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk has had an outstanding 2023 season. The star wide receiver is the WR13 for the year, averaging 13.3 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. San Francisco’s offense is headlined by Christian McCaffrey, Deebo Samuel, and George Kittle. Yet, Aiyuk has quietly had a career season.
Last week, the star wide receiver had his way with a talented Baltimore Ravens defense. He had six receptions on seven targets for 113 receiving yards and 14.3 fantasy points. Aiyuk had over 100 receiving yards for the sixth time this season, including the two over the past three weeks.
Fantasy players should expect the star wide receiver to have another massive performance in Week 17. The 49ers face the Washington Commanders in a matchup between David vs. Goliath. San Francisco has one of the top passing attacks in the league, while Washington’s pass defense is arguably the worst.
Washington has surrendered 35.3 fantasy points per game to wide receivers, the second-most in the NFL. They have given up two or more receiving touchdowns to wide receivers in three of their past four games. Aiyuk is prime for a massive Week 17 performance.
