Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jayden Reed has emerged as a strong playmaker and one of the team's top options in his rookie season.
Unfortunately, the 23-year-old got banged up in Week 15 of this season, causing him to miss last Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers. Shorthanded at the wide receiver position, fantasy managers are surely wondering when Reed might be able to return.
When is Jayden Reed coming back to action? What is his fantasy football outlook when he returns? Let's dive in.

Jayden Reed Injury Update for Fantasy Football
Reed (toe, chest) originally suffered his injury during the Packers' Week 15 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In that game, he scored a touchdown but played just 42 percent of snaps.
Leading up to Week 16, Reed missed all three days of practice. The Packers left the door open for him to play by listing him as questionable, but he was ultimately deemed inactive prior to kickoff.
Reed made clear progress this past week, logging a limited practice for three consecutive days. Most importantly, he was not given any sort of designation when the Packers released their injury report on Friday. This means that Reed will play in Week 17 versus the Chicago Bears, barring a major setback.
Jayden Reed Fantasy Football Outlook
The fact that Reed did not carry a designation into the weekend suggests that he is around 100 percent and will be a full-go on Sunday night. As he has done most of this season when healthy, the 23-year-old wide receiver will operate as Green Bay's primary wide receiver, earning volume over the likes of Romeo Doubs, Christian Watson (hamstring), and Dontayvion Wicks (chest, ankle).
Reed's last six games (Week 10 through 15) have been especially productive. During that span, he ranked as the overall WR8 in fantasy football by amassing 31 catches, 259 yards, and three touchdowns. The rookie doesn't post extremely high yardage totals, but he tallies plenty of receptions, making him a great option in PPR leagues.
Fantasy managers should continue to trust Reed as a WR3/FLEX option in Week 17 versus the Chicago Bears.
