Zay Flowers Questionable For Week 17
12 months agoBaltimore Ravens rookie wide receiver Zay Flowers (calf) was limited in practice on Friday and is listed as questionable to suit up on Sunday to face the Miami Dolphins in Week 17 action. The good news is that the first-rounder was able to practice at all on Friday after skipping practice sessions on Wednesday and Thursday. In the event that Flowers doesn't play on Sunday, receivers Odell Beckham Jr., Rashod Bateman and Nelson Agholor, and tight end Isaiah Likely would be in line for more targets in the passing attack. The 23-year-old Flowers has been Baltimore's leading receiver this year with tight end Mark Andrews (ankle) going down with a season-ending injury, so his absence would be bad news for quarterback Lamar Jackson in this high-profile matchup. Flowers should be considered on the WR2/3 borderline if he plays. Check back on Flowers' status on Sunday morning 90 minutes before kickoff.
