Zach Wilson Could Play In Week 18
12 months agoNew York Jets head coach Robert Saleh told reporters on Friday that the team is taking a wait-and-see approach with quarterback Zach Wilson (concussion) for the Week 18 regular season finale against the New England Patriots. "We'll see where he's at. He will definitely be part of the discussion. We just need to get him healthy first," Saleh said when asked if Wilson will be the starter if healthy for next week. In ESPN New York's Rich Cimini's opinion, Trevor Semien will make another start on Jan. 7 to close out the Jets' season. New York has nothing left to play for, so they are unlikely to rush Wilson through the league's concussion protocol to have him play in a meaningless game. The 24-year-old has missed the last two games due to a concussion suffered in Week 15.
