The 2023-2024 NBA season is here, and our friends over at PrizePicks still have a TON of great props we can look to take advantage of. PrizePicks is a great DFS props site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power or flex play. On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back.
Our partners at PrizePicks offer some of the industry's best and easiest-to-win NBA DFS games. There are no large-field tournaments filled with sharks where you have to get lucky just to place. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money. With promo code 'BALLER' you can get a 100% match on your deposit up to $100.
PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game. The second game is known as Single Stat. For the NBA, Single Stat consists of points, rebounds, assists, three-pointers made, and free throws made, in which you determine if the player in question will go over or under their projected total. You can mix and match players from each type of game in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Today, we will look at some single-stat scores for tonight, December 29.
Single Stat NBA Totals - DFS Prop Picks
Editor's Note: Prize Picks prop totals are not always available first thing in the morning, so check back during the day, as other props may be added during the day.
Kevin Huerter OVER 1.5 3-PT Made - It's been a down year for Kevin Huerter from an efficiency standpoint and from an overall scoring standpoint. Converting on 35 percent of three-point shots, down from 40 percent last season, Huerter hasn't capitalized on a historic Sacramento Kings campaign in which they ended a 16-season playoff drought. However, with the Atlanta Hawks hosting the Kings on Friday night comes a lifeline for Huerter to improve on an otherwise underperforming season.

I believe playing a former team will make Huerter the beneficiary of a good night, especially in light of the opinion he shared regarding Trae Young's sticky-hand tendency with the ball. Look for Huerter to take advantage of a weak Atlanta defense; pound the over on 1.5 three-point shots made.
Mikal Bridges OVER 3.5 Assists - Despite the lack of stars on the Brooklyn Nets, Mikal Bridges, so far, fails to stand out as the best player on a team in the playoff race. Bridges' teammate, eager-shooter Cam Thomas, although not exactly the most efficient offensive player, showcases the aggression you want to see in your best player. Still, there is more to basketball than shooting the ball.
Scoring aside, Bridges has other attributes for a team seeking a playoff berth. Averaging 3.8 assists per game in his last five, albeit not a high average, such a stat indicates the willingness to spread the ball. With the Nets set to play the 5-25 Washington Wizards on Friday, expect an explosion from Bridges and his team. Mash the over on 3.5 assists for Bridges.
Jordan Poole OVER 19.5 Points - I don't find myself betting on Wizards guard Jordan Poole anymore. Aside from Washington's abysmal record, Poole struggles to score despite having the ultimate green light. Perhaps he was merely a byproduct of the Golden State Warriors' championship core.

Still, Poole has a chance to redeem himself against the meh-Nets on Friday evening. Scoring north of 20 points in his last three of five games, Poole's showcased why the Wizards traded for the NBA champion. Tap the over on 19.5 points for Poole.
Dejounte Murray OVER 20.5 Points - Positivity fills the air this Friday as I picked the over on every prop for the power play, and with combo guard Dejounte Murray, it's no different. Facing the 22nd-ranked defensive rating team in the league, the Kings, I expect a high-scoring game between them and the Hawks.
Averaging 21.6 points in his last five games and finishing 40 percent of his three-point shots, Murray improved from his previous five games, finishing with a 54.4 true shooting percentage compared to the remarkable 63.5 mark from his current stretch. In light of Atlanta's opponent and his current shooting streak, I strongly sense that Murray will cover the light 20.5 points line.
