Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton has exceeded expectations this season for fantasy football. In standard leagues, he is the WR21 -- mostly due to his 10 touchdown receptions. He is a top-30 fantasy wideout in half-PPR and PPR scoring as well, so he's been firmly on the fantasy radar all year.
Unfortunately, he got banged up in Week 16, exited the game early, and scored zero fantasy points. Heading into the championship round of the fantasy football playoffs, we have his latest update.
Is Sutton playing against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 17? What's his fantasy football outlook? Let's get into it.

Courtland Sutton Injury Update for Fantasy Football
Sutton did not return after exiting Sunday night's contest against the New England Patriots due to a concussion. Sutton has been the main contributor in the passing game and has been the most consistent offensive player to find the end zone for the Broncos.
Head injuries, whether it's a concussion or not, usually hold players out more often than not, so this is a bit of a worrisome injury. It's never a good idea to make predictions about how long it will take a player to clear concussion protocol, so fantasy managers should monitor his practice status later in the week.
If he does suit up in Week 17, he'll be catching passes from Jarrett Stidham after the team announced they are benching Russell Wilson. If Sutton cannot play, Jerry Jeudy, Marvin Mims Jr., and Brandon Johnson are candidates to see more targets.
Courtland Sutton Fantasy Football Outlook
Since the Los Angeles Chargers have allowed the third-most fantasy points per game to wide receivers, Sutton remains on the fantasy radar despite Wilson's absence. However, his floor would be lower, especially since Wilson loves to target him deep down the field and in the end zone.
Instead of having a WR2 outlook with Wilson, Sutton is likely more of a fringe WR3 or WR4 option in Week 17. Stidham has played well in short spurts during his career, but it's tough to trust a backup quarterback to support your fantasy pass-catcher at such a crucial time in the season.
