The 2023-2024 NBA season is here, and our friends over at PrizePicks still have a TON of great props we can look to take advantage of. PrizePicks is a great DFS props site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power or flex play. On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back.
Our partners at PrizePicks offer some of the industry's best and easiest-to-win NBA DFS games. There are no large-field tournaments filled with sharks where you have to get lucky just to place. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money. With promo code 'BALLER' you can get a 100% match on your deposit up to $100.
PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game. The second game is known as Single Stat. For the NBA, Single Stat consists of points, rebounds, assists, three-pointers made, and free throws made, in which you determine if the player in question will go over or under their projected total. You can mix and match players from each type of game in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Today, we will look at some single-stat scores for tonight, December 27.
Single Stat NBA Totals - DFS Prop Picks
Editor's Note: Prize Picks prop totals are not always available first thing in the morning, so check back during the day, as other props may be added during the day.
Luka Doncic UNDER 10.5 Assists - How does one follow up a 50-point, 15-assists master class? Well, probably not with a repeat performance. On the heels of a historic Christmas Day, Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks host the Cleveland Cavaliers. Dealing with injuries to Evan Mobley and Darius Garland, Doncic has little to no worries about a Cleveland player neutralizing his attack. Doncic will likely reach double-digit assists, but I believe the 10.5 line is safe.

Tap the under on 10.5 assists for Doncic.
Franz Wagner OVER 22.5 Points - Wednesday night sees the Orlando Magic playing the Philadelphia 76ers on the second night of a back-to-back schedule. Typically, such a sequence would have "scheduled loss" all over it. However, without Joel Embiid in the lineup, Orlando's chances of success improve significantly. Averaging 27 points in his last three games on 30 percent three-point shooting, Franz Wagner leaves room for improvement.

I suspect a tight-knit battle between two Eastern Conference teams positioning for playoff seeding, ultimately leading to Wagner stepping up to the challenge and cleaning up his outside shooting percentages. Bang the over on 22.5 points for Wagner.
Scottie Barnes OVER 22.5 Points - Word of advice: Take the over on points anytime a prop involves a player opposing the Washington Wizards. Ranked 25th in offensive rating and dead-last league-wide in defense rating, the Wizards offer no resistance on defense, and ultimately harbor talent on offense for show but without utilization. It's like visiting a museum and being told not to touch the goods. What's the point?
In his last five games, Toronto Raptors wing Scottie Barnes averaged 23.8 points. Having not played since December 23, the Raptors have ample rest on their legs, so expect a big game from the 2021 fourth-overall pick. Without hesitation, mash the over on 22.5 points for Barnes.
De'Anthony Melton UNDER 3.5 Assists - As Philadelphia plays its second consecutive game without reigning MVP Embiid, an all-hands-on-deck approach must follow to defeat the young but defensively sharp Orlando team. Sixers combo guard De'Anthony Melton's scoring is now more critical to Philadelphia's cause due to the massive void left in Embiid's absence.
Although Melton recorded five assists on Christmas Day, his teammate Tyrese Maxey had an abysmal shooting night as he shot 4-20, leading the All-Star candidate to shy from the ball. Melton averaged 2.4 assists in his last five outings, with the Christmas game as the outlier. Don't expect such a low performance from Tyrese Maxey in consecutive games. Instead, look for Melton to fall in line as the finisher more so than the creator against the Magic. Tap the under on 3.5 assists for Melton.
