Trevor Siemian completed eight of his 20 pass attempts for 70 scoreless yards in a 17-3 victory over the New England Patriots. He added one rushing yard on two carries. The snowy weather conditions in Foxborough did no favors for either team's passing attack as Siemian and Patriots signal-caller
Bailey Zappe combined for just 158 yards through the air. Nonetheless, Siemian avoided turning the ball over and led New York on four scoring drives. The 32-year-old will conclude the campaign going 2-1 as a starter and will hope to reprise a role as a backup next season.

Trevor Siemian is set to start in the team's season finale against the New England Patriots. Siemian has been mostly ineffective over the past three weeks, tossing two touchdowns and four interceptions while leading the Jets to one victory. The 32-year-old is sure to be tested in Foxborough on Sunday as the Patriots have surrendered the 13th-fewest fantasy points to quarterbacks this season. New York's offense as a whole has been difficult to trust throughout the campaign and Siemian's play has not inspired confidence. Fantasy managers would be wise to avoid Siemian and opt for one of the many other backup quarterbacks starting this weekend.

Things looked promising for the Jets' offense early on as Siemian led a 75-yard scoring drive on its first possession. He connected with running back
Breece Hall on a short pass that was taken 21 yards to the house for New York's only offensive touchdown of the contest. Siemian unfortunately couldn't get much going after and threw a pick-six late in the first quarter. If
Zach Wilson (concussion) is again ruled out in Week 18, Siemian will likely draw the start against the New England Patriots in the team's final game of the season.
