ANALYSIS: Houston Texans wide receiver Noah Brown didn't have a great showing in Week 16, but a big part of that wasn't really about Brown. The Texans were facing the NFL's best pass defense, the Cleveland Browns, and were alternating Case Keenum and Davis Mills at QB. Brown was targeted seven times in the game, catching three of those pass attempts for 38 yards.
Week 17 could be a huge game for Brown, though. Quarterback C.J. Stroud has missed the past two games with a concussion but should be back for an important contest against the Titans. This will be the second time these teams have met this season, with Houston winning the first meeting.
In that game, Noah Brown was electric, catching eight passes for 82 yards and a touchdown as the Texans were without No. 1 wide receiver Nico Collins, which elevated Brown to a larger role. Keenum also played quarterback in that game. With Stroud back, Brown could see a number of high-value targets on Sunday, making him a top add off of the waiver wire ahead of this huge Week 17 contest, which Houston needs to win to stay in the playoff hunt.
