The 2023-2024 NBA season is here, and our friends over at PrizePicks still have a TON of great props we can look to take advantage of. PrizePicks is a great DFS props site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power or flex play. On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back.
Our partners at PrizePicks offer some of the industry's best and easiest-to-win NBA DFS games. There are no large-field tournaments filled with sharks where you have to get lucky just to place. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money. With promo code 'BALLER' you can get a 100% match on your deposit up to $100.
PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game. The second game is known as Single Stat. For the NBA, Single Stat consists of points, rebounds, assists, three-pointers made, and free throws made, in which you determine if the player in question will go over or under their projected total. You can mix and match players from each type of game in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Today, we will look at some single-stat scores for tonight, December 25.
Single Stat NBA Totals - DFS Prop Picks
Editor's Note: Prize Picks prop totals are not always available first thing in the morning, so check back during the day, as other props may be added during the day.
Stephen Curry OVER 28.5 Points - Historically, two-time MVP Stephen Curry plays poorly on Christmas Day. Averaging an underwhelming 15 points on 23 percent three-point shooting in nine Christmas Day games, expecting Curry to flip such an unfortunate stat line on the dime may seem unlikely. However, for all the negativity surrounding the Golden State Warriors, I feel a change in production for the four-time NBA champion this Christmas.
Regardless of the history hanging over this prop, it's hard to bet against one of the best shooters ever. Ultimately, take the over on 28.5 points for Curry, as he's due for a heater against the Denver Nuggets.
Nikola Jokic OVER 9.5 Assists - On last Friday's edition of DFS Prop Picks, we went three of four, with Nikola Jokic failing to cover the power play as he recorded less than 9.5 assists. Withstanding Jokic's recent four-game stretch in which he was unable to reach double-digit assists, I feel a tide coming to wash away his latest performances.

Furthermore, last season against the Warriors, Jokic averaged 12 assists, leading me to believe he'll cover the over on 9.5 assists and, in turn, bless our Christmas power play.
Tobias Harris OVER 1.5 3-PT Made - On the heels of a season-high 33 points against the Toronto Raptors, the Philadelphia 76ers' Tobias Harris has another chance to step up as reigning MVP Joel Embiid will miss Christmas Day due to an ankle injury. Aside from the five three-point shots converted over the Raptors, Harris hasn't registered multiple three-point conversions in a game since Philadelphia beat the Detroit Pistons on December 13.
Tobias Harris in the 1st half:
24 points
7 rebounds
5 assists
8-12 FGA
4-5 3PAAlready his 2nd best scoring output on the season. Love when he uses his size and physicality in the way that he is capable

Despite such numbers, Harris seems to have caught fire recently and will only increase his three-point attempts with Embiid sidelined. Tap the over on 1.5 three-point shots made for Harris.
Caleb Martin OVER 0.5 Steals - Of all the prop options, steals remain one of the flukier bets one can make. However, despite sheer luck determining certain steals at times, it's no coincidence Miami Heat wing Caleb Martin has at least one steal in his last four outings. Up against Jimmy Butler's former team, I predict the Heat's defense will be a little more aggressive than usual, leading to turnovers at the Sixers' expense. Slam the over on 0.5 steals for Martin.
Overall recommendation for this play: POWER
