ANALYSIS: Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams has been one of the top wide receivers in the NFL over the past several years. Many had concerns about the superstar after the Raiders moved on from Derek Carr in the offseason. The wide receiver has been productive despite playing with three different quarterbacks.
Adams is the WR15 for the season, averaging 12.1 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. After a few disappointing performances, the superstar had eight receptions on 12 targets for 101 receiving yards, a touchdown, and 20.1 fantasy points in the Week 15 win over the Los Angeles Chargers.
Despite playing with multiple quarterbacks this year, Adams has 968 receiving yards. He is only 32 away from his fourth consecutive 1,000-yard season.
Tomorrow, the wide receiver faces a Kansas City Chiefs defense that has played well in 2023. They have held wide receivers to 23.9 fantasy points per game, the seventh-fewest in the NFL. The Chiefs have shut down most No. 1 wide receivers this year. Adams had only 9.8 fantasy points in the Week 12 matchup against Kansas City.
Fantasy players should start Adams this week. However, temper your expectations for the superstar wide receiver.
