BALLER MOVE: Start in 12-team PPR formats
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR3
ANALYSIS: Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett is coming off of a frustrating game against the Philadelphia Eagles last week. Lockett was targeted nine times in the 20-17 victory by backup quarterback Drew Lock, but he caught just three of those passes for 21 yards.
The good news heading into Sunday's Week 16 contest against the Tennessee Titans is that Geno Smith will be back under center, upping the quality of the targets that Lockett is likely to receive.
Lockett has 68 catches on 102 targets this season. The veteran wide receiver has 738 receiving yards, putting his streak of four consecutive 1,000-yard seasons in jeopardy. His 52.3 receiving yards per game are his lowest since 2017.
This week, he has a chance to post strong numbers against this Titans pass defense. Tennessee allows the 12th-most passing yards per game to opposing teams. Fantasy managers should view Lockett as a low-end WR3 play. As is usually the case based on the way Lockett plays, he has more value in full PPR leagues than he does in standard scoring leagues, where his value in the short passing game isn't rewarded as much for fantasy purposes.
