ANALYSIS: Arizona Cardinals running back James Conner comes into Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears on a hot streak, as Conner has found the end zone three times over the past two games.
Last week against the San Francisco 49ers, Conner had 14 carries for 86 yards and a touchdown while also adding three receptions for three yards. The previous week against the Steelers, Conner had 25 carries for 105 yards and two scores.
He's mostly a non-entity in the passing game, which poses some issues when it comes to PPR leagues. Conner has finished with double-digit receiving yards just once all year and has four games where he failed to record a single catch.
This week, Conner faces the Chicago Bears, who have been the NFL's best run defense this season, allowing 79.8 yards per game. They're the only team allowing under 80 rushing yards per game. Considering all of Conner's value comes on the ground, this might be a spot where fantasy managers consider fading Conner in 10-team or shallower leagues, as it's going to be tough sledding for him in this Week 16 matchup with Chicago.
