Jasson Dominguez Should Be Back "Sooner Rather Than Later"
12 months agoNew York Yankees manager Aaron Boone said that outfielder Jasson Dominguez (elbow) is doing "really well" and that he should look "a lot like a regular player" in spring training. There hasn't been anything new on a timeline for Dominguez's return, but Boone is optimistic he will be back "sooner rather than later." The team's No. 2 prospect, per MLB Pipeline, underwent Tommy John surgery and now will not be guaranteed the starting center field job when he is recovered after the club added outfielders Juan Soto and Alex Verdugo this offseason. The 20-year-old made his MLB debut in 2023 and impressed with a .980 OPS and four home runs in just eight games and he deserves to be stashed in all dynasty/keeper leagues. The guy they call The Martian should also be stashed in most redraft leagues in 2024, despite the fact he's likely to miss around half the season.
