BALLER MOVE: Start in 10+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR3
ANALYSIS: Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison has arguably been the top rookie wide receiver not named Puka Nacua this season. The former USC star is the WR15 for the year, averaging 12 half-point PPR fantasy points per game.
Addison had high goals for himself this season. He wanted at least 1,000 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns as a rookie. Despite having issues connecting with Joshua Dobbs over the past few weeks, Addison has 824 receiving yards and nine touchdowns this year with three games to go.
Last week, the rookie had a massive performance in the overtime loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. Addison had six receptions for 111 receiving yards and two touchdowns, scoring 26.1 fantasy points. He had over 82 receiving yards for only the second time in his career and the first since Week 7.
While his two receiving touchdowns last week had some luck attached to them, fantasy players should feel confident starting Addison as a WR3 against the Detroit Lions. The NFC North division leaders have surrendered 30 fantasy points per game to wide receivers, eighth-most in the NFL. They have given up at least one receiving touchdown to wide receivers in five of their past six contests.
