ANALYSIS: Cleveland Browns wide receiver Cedric Tillman continued to see his role increase this week, as the rookie was targeted a season-high eight times. He ended up catching four of those passes for 52 yards, marking the second time in the past four games that Tillman had over 50 receiving yards. The other time was in Week 12 against the Denver Broncos when Tillman was targeted five times. He caught four of those passes for a season-high 55 receiving yards.
The third-round pick out of Tennessee played 72% of Cleveland's offensive snaps in this one. That amounted to 50 snaps, just four fewer than Elijah Moore. While Amari Cooper is the top weapon on this Browns team, Tillman is making a run at Moore for the No. 2 role.
Up next for the Browns is a meeting with the Houston Texans, who have shown some defensive issues at times this season. Tillman is worth adding in 14-team leagues, though he's likely going to be a boom-or-bust play due to the uneven nature of his rookie season production.
