Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa didn't commit any turnovers in the 30-0 win over the New York Jets, but he still didn't post a QB1 type of performance. He ended the game with 224 yards through the air and one touchdown while completing 21 of his 24 attempts. His longest throw of the day went for a 60-yard touchdown where he threw it over top of the defense for a streaking Jaylen Waddle. While his fantasy stat line didn't equate to much, Tagovailoa looked confident against one of the toughest pass defenses in the league. He'll endure another tough test against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 16.--Alex Fischbein - RotoBaller

Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa (hip) is officially inactive for Sunday's Week 18 contest against the New York Jets. He had been listed as doubtful despite being a limited participant in practice. As expected, Tyler Huntley will draw his second consecutive start. He led Miami to a victory last weekend, and now, he'll be tasked with keeping Miami's playoff hopes alive. The Dolphins can secure the No. 7 seed with a win plus a Broncos loss. Although they won't have Tagovailoa for Sunday's decisive game, the Dolphins will have both Jaylen Waddle (knee) and Tyreek Hill (wrist, illness) available. Huntley ranks as a QB3 in fantasy football this week.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBaller

Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa (hip) is unlikely to play in the Week 18 regular-season finale against the division-rival New York Jets on Sunday due to a unique hip injury that affects the surrounding muscles and leaves him vulnerable to further injury, according to sources. Tagovailoa has pushed to play when his team needs him the most, but it's not a guarantee that he'll be available if the Dolphins win in Week 18 and advance to wild-card weekend. Tagovailoa said his general feeling is worse than how he felt a week after he had ankle surgery during his final season in college in 2019. Head coach Mike McDaniel said it's the same hip that Tagovailoa had surgically repaired, but it's a different injury. While Tua does have a career-high 72.9 completion percentage, 19 TDs and seven interceptions, he's played in only 11 games after a stint on Injured Reserve due to another concussion.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa (hip) is unlikely to play Sunday against the New York Jets, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Miami will once again start backup quarterback Tyler Huntley, who oversaw the win in Cleveland last week, as they attempt to qualify for the playoffs, which would require another victory today and help elsewhere. Though Tagovailoa was widely expected to miss Week 18, the quarterback said this week that he can play next week if Miami advances. Rapoport, however, reported his status would be "up in the air" if Miami plays a Wild Card game. But first, the Dolphins have to get to that bridge before they can cross it.--Nick Piotrowicz - RotoBaller

Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa (hip) is listed as doubtful to play in Sunday's Week 18 regular-season finale against the division-rival Jets in New York. Tagovailoa was limited in practice all week but is likely to miss his second straight game as the Dolphins look to keep their playoff hopes alive with a win over the Jets this weekend. Head coach Mike McDaniel said earlier on Friday that Tagovailoa was unlikely to play on Sunday, so his doubtful listing doesn't come as a huge surprise. The 26-year-old former fifth overall pick missed four games earlier in the year with another scary concussion and will wrap up his fifth year in the NFL with only 2,867 passing yards and 19 touchdowns in 11 starts, although he did lead the league with a 72.9% completion percentage. With Tagovailoa likely to miss a second straight game, Miami's playoff hopes will rest on the shoulders of backup Tyler Huntley.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
