BALLER MOVE: Start In 10-Team PPR Formats
POSITIONAL VALUE: High-End WR3
ANALYSIS: Cleveland Browns wide receiver Amari Cooper saw a season-high 14 targets last week, catching seven of those passes for 77 yards. The seven receptions tied Cooper's season high.
What was behind the increased production from Cooper? It might have simply been that Joe Flacco had another week to prepare as the Browns starting QB and he worked hard to get his best offensive weapon involved.
Expect Cooper to remain heavily involved this week against the Bears, though his fantasy value ultimately depends on Flacco continuing to play well. The veteran quarterback threw for 311 yards last week, but he really struggled in 2022 in his four starts with the Jets. Can he keep it up?
Cooper is a high-end WR3 play with upside this week, but fantasy managers should temper expectations since so much depends on Flacco. Another concern is that the Chicago Bears have allowed the 10th-fewest receiving yards to the wide receiver position this season. There's a lot of risk here, but also enough reward for him to be in play in 10-team leagues.
