Darius Slay Has Surgery, Will Miss Monday Night Game
12 months agoPhiladelphia Eagles cornerback Darius Slay (knee) had arthroscopic knee surgery this week and will be out for the Monday night game in Week 15 against the Seattle Seahawks, but he is expected to return by the end of the regular season, according to sources. It's a big-time loss for an already suspect Eagles secondary as they look to snap a their first two-game losing streak since the 2021 season. The 32-year-old five-time Pro Bowler has 57 tackles, 15 passes defensed and two interceptions this year. Slay's absence will be great news for Seahawks wideout DK Metcalf on Monday night. With Slay out this week, Bradley Roby will be pushed into more playing time as the Eagles look to slow down Seattle's passing attack.
