Tua Tagovailoa Disappoints In Monday Night Loss
12 months agoMiami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa proved on Monday night that receiver Tyreek Hill (ankle) should be at the top of the MVP conversation after he was unable to lead the team to victory with Hill on the sidelines for most of the game. He ended the game with 240 yards while completing 23 of his 33 passes with a fumble while collecting 15 yards on three carries. His accuracy wasn't the issue, but the Titans defense was able to negate any type of explosive passing plays, especially with Hill out. Tagovailoa only averaged 7.3 yards per completion, and when the big plays are limited, this offense noticeably becomes slightly above average. He'll have a tougher task in Week 15 as he takes on the vaunted New York Jets pass defense.
