Romeo Doubs Does Little With Seven Targets
12 months agoGreen Bay Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs caught four of seven targets for 32 yards during the team's 22-24 loss to the New York Giants. The second-year receiver failed to reach 40 receiving yards for the sixth time in eight weeks and failed to find the end zone, leading to a disappointing fantasy performance. When Christian Watson (hamstring) has missed time, Doubs has seen a target boost, but he has failed to do anything with them more times than not. Rookie Jayden Reed led the team in targets Monday night, and the Packers made it a point of emphasis to get the ball in his hands by using him as a running back as well. With Dontayvion Wicks (ankle) potentially missing time and no timetable for Watson's return, Doubs will remain in flex territory for needy fantasy managers, but he remains touchdown-dependent. The 23-year-old will be on the flex radar against Tampa Bay next week.
