The 2023-2024 NBA season is here, and our friends over at PrizePicks still have a TON of great props we can look to take advantage of. PrizePicks is a great DFS props site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power or flex play. On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back.
Our partners at PrizePicks offer some of the industry's best and easiest-to-win NBA DFS games. There are no large-field tournaments filled with sharks where you have to get lucky just to place. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money. With promo code 'BALLER' you can get a 100% match on your deposit up to $100.
PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game. The second game is known as Single Stat. For the NBA, Single Stat consists of points, rebounds, assists, three-pointers made, and free throws made, in which you determine if the player in question will go over or under their projected total. You can mix and match players from each type of game in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Today, we will look at some single-stat scores for tonight, December 11.
Single Stat NBA Totals - DFS Prop Picks
Editor's Note: Prize Picks prop totals are not always available first thing in the morning, so check back during the day, as other props may be added during the day.
Michael Porter Jr. OVER 18.5 Points+Assists - When players see the Atlanta Hawks on their schedule, I picture instant joy, followed by a Shaquille O'Neal "barbeque chicken" impersonation. Third in pace and bottom third league-wide in points allowed, the Atlanta Hawks are a chivalrous group in opening the doors and making a walkway for their guests. Knowing all this information leads me to consistently bet the over on any player opposing the Atlanta Hawks.

Michael Porter Jr. is in a comfortable position. With Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic as Atlanta's primary focuses, Porter Jr. can be the release valve for the Denver Nuggets' two-man game. Averaging 20 points and two assists in his previous five games, Porter Jr. should cover the over on 18.5 points-assists prop.
Franz Wagner OVER 1.5 3-PT Made - The Orlando Magic had a rough start against the Cleveland Cavaliers on December 6. After 12 minutes of action, the Cavaliers held the upper hand with a 36-20 score. Furthermore, Franz Wagner didn't register a single shot made in Orlando's underwhelming start, finishing 0-3 for the first quarter, and frankly, his performance didn't improve much as the game continued. In 41 minutes, Wagner struggled to convert 3-16 field goals and produced a goose egg with a miserable 0-5 three-point shooting mark.
Although the Cavaliers deserve praise for their defense, Wagner's previous outing, in my opinion, was a product of aberration. Take the over on 1.5 three-point shots made.
Joel Embiid OVER 12.5 Rebounds - I'm done betting the under on Joel Embiid. Even when I think he will take it easy, as he's on the injury report a lot, Embiid's dominant playstyle overcomes physical ailments more than not. Do you know what else helped change my approach? The Philadelphia 76ers play the Washington Wizards on Monday night. Over his last five games, Embiid averaged 12 rebounds, including a 50-point, 13-rebound performance vs. the Wizards on December 6.
Slam the over on 12.5 rebounds for the reigning MVP.
Jaren Jackson Jr. OVER 1.5 Blocks - The ruling Defensive Player of the Year, Jaren Jackson Jr., faces the Dallas Mavericks on Monday evening. Although the Memphis Grizzlies hold a 6-15 record, they recently provided grief to the Mavericks. In Memphis' 108-94 victory over Dallas, Jackson Jr. rejected two shots, as he did on October 30. It's hard to imagine Jackson Jr. not covering the over on 1.5 blocks.

Take the over, for without Kyrie Irving in the lineup, Jackson Jr. has one less elite play-making guard to help guard on defense.
