Despite initially seeming to secure the lead-back role, the 25-year-old missed five games and hasn't played in more than 50% of snaps since his return. Notably, Herbert received no passing work in the game, raising concerns about his role considering the current absence of a clear path to 10 or more carries. In Week 14, D'Onta Foreman emerged as the primary back, handling 14 touches compared to Herbert's three. As the Bears gear up to face the Browns in Week 15, a team allowing the 19th-most points per game to running backs this season, Herbert's fantasy appeal remains uncertain.
