12 months agoJamie Mullarkey suffered a first-round knockout loss to Nasrat Haqparast at UFC Vegas 83 on Saturday. Mullarkey was coming off a controversial decision win over John Makdessi back in September to return to the win column. Mullarkey didn't have much for Haqparast as he was outstruck early and got dropped by a big punch. Although he was able to get back to his feet, Haqparast landed another big shot that dropped Mullarkey and the ref stepped in to stop the fight. With the loss, Mullarkey dropped 5-5 in the UFC and has been finished in three of those losses.--Cole Shelton
