Kyrie Irving Has A Heel Contusion
12 months agoDallas Mavericks guard Kyrie Irving (heel) underwent an MRI after exiting Friday's win over the Portland Trail Blazers. Luckily, the veteran avoided a serious injury, with results revealing a heel contusion. Since then, he's returned to Dallas for treatment. However, the Mavs might be without him for a while, judging by Irving's history. The former Brooklyn Net has appeared in 17 games this season, averaging 23.0 points, 5.2 assists, and 1.2 steals. As a result, Luka Doncic is expected to pick up most of the load on the scoring end. But guys like Dante Exum, who had 23 points on Friday, and Derrick Jones Jr. may see more attention from fantasy managers.
