BALLER MOVE: Start in 10+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR2
ANALYSIS: Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua had a very tough Week 13 matchup against a Cleveland Browns team that allowed the fewest passing yards per game, but the rookie came through, catching four passes for 105 yards and a touchdown.
That was the fifth time that Nacua has had 100-plus receiving yards in a game. The former BYU player has made a huge splash this season for the Rams and while his numbers had dipped a bit in recent weeks, Week 13 was a reminder of his upside.
Still, he's had under 50 receiving yards in three of the past five games, so Nacua's not the locked-and-loaded WR1 play that he was earlier in the season. He still has these explosive games, but fantasy managers shouldn't expect those explosive games to happen every week, especially with his targets down a tad.
Over the first seven games, Nacua averaged 11.7 targets per game. Over the past five, he's down to 7.2. Those are still good numbers, but the drop in usage hurts his ceiling and drops his floor. Consider Nacua to be an upside WR2 play on Sunday against a tough Ravens passing defense.
