Is Najee Harris Playing In Week 14?
Najee Harris has been a portrait of health during his NFL career. He has played in all 46 games since being drafted by the Steelers in 2021.https://x.com/TomPelissero/status/1732737457886536088?s=20
However, his appearance on the injury report and lack of practice time this week definitely cast some doubt on his availability for this Thursday night game. However, it sounds like the lack of practice time might have been mostly precautionary, as Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network reports that Harris will be active for Thursday's game.
Harris is averaging 55.1 rushing and 10.8 receiving yards per game this season. He had 63 yards on the ground and 14 in the air last week against Arizona. He may be a bit limited this week, so fantasy managers should view him as a high-upside RB3 option.
Should I Start Jaylen Warren for Fantasy Football Week 14?
If Najee Harris had been inactive tonight, Jaylen Warren would have been a high-end RB2 play with upside. However, Harris playing puts a bit of a damper on his upside.
Still, Warren has played well this season. Last week, he had nine carries for 59 yards against Arizona. He has a pair of 100-yard games this season and has looked like the better Steelers back at times.
It wouldn't be a shock to see Harris take a backseat to Warren this week, so fantasy managers should still consider starting Warren as a low-end fantasy RB2 play.
