49ers Waive Tyrion Davis-Price On Tuesday
12 months agoTo make room for new defensive back Logan Ryan, the San Francisco 49ers waived running back Tyrion Davis-Price on Tuesday. Davis-Price, the team's third-round pick in 2022, has played in just one game in 2023 after carrying the ball 34 times for 99 yards and no touchdowns in six games in his rookie season. His lone game for the Niners this year came in the Week 5 blowout win over the Dallas Cowboys. Davis-Price had six carries in that contest for 21 yards while playing just seven total offensive snaps. The 23-year-old running back will now look to latch on with another team as a depth option. Davis-Price was fourth on San Fran's RB depth behind Christian McCaffrey, Elijah Mitchell and Jordan Mason.
