Darren Waller Unlikely To Return In Week 14
12 months agoNew York Giants tight end Darren Waller (hamstring) has been on the Injured Reserve list since November 4 due to a hamstring injury. The 31-year-old has missed multiple games due to an injured hamstring in each of the last three seasons. On Tuesday, head coach Brian Daboll said Waller is "making progress" but is unlikely to play against the Green Bay Packers in Week 14, according to Dan Salomone of Giants.com. Fantasy managers will probably have to wait at least one more week for his return. However, there's a chance he could be held out for the remainder of the season given the team's 4-8 record. If he does return, he'll have at least low-end TE1 upside for the fantasy football playoffs. That said, his floor could be low in a horrible offense and due to injury concerns.
