Brad Marchand Scores First Natural Hat Trick
1 year agoBoston Bruins left wing Brad Marchand recorded the first natural hat trick of his career and the sixth overall in Sunday's 3-1 victory over Columbus. The Bruins were facing a surprising loss against one of the poorest teams in the league as they entered the final frame with a 1-0 deficit, but Marchand quickly knotted things up in the third and added a pair of power-play goals to make it three wins in a row for Boston. Following a five-game dry spell, Marchand came alive again over the weekend, scoring four times in two games. The veteran has continued to post good numbers in Year 15, boasting 11 goals and 12 assists through 24 appearances.
