Brock Purdy Tosses Four Touchdowns In Philly
12 months agoSan Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy threw for 314 yards and four touchdowns by completing 19 of 27 attempts in the team's impressive 42-19 victory at the Philadelphia Eagles. NFL fans saw what might have been if Purdy hadn't injured his elbow in the opening drive of last year's NFC Championship Game loss to the Eagles. By blowing out the team with the best record in the league, Purdy has rekindled some of the MVP talks that swirled around his name just before San Francisco's three-game losing streak. Though Purdy has established himself as a legitimate fantasy starter in standard leagues, his set of matchups moving forward includes decent pass defenses in the Cardinals and Seahawks and a tough one against Baltimore. But Purdy managers who make it to a Week 17 championship will have a tasty matchup against the league-worst Washington Commanders' pass defense, which just got shredded by Miami.
