BALLER MOVE: Start in 10+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: TE1
ANALYSIS: Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Evan Engram was a popular mid-round fantasy football draft pick this year after how he played in 2022. The veteran tight end has been solid for fantasy players. He is the TE12 for the season, averaging 7.5 half-point PPR fantasy points per game.
Engram has 64 receptions on 82 targets for 524 receiving yards. Unfortunately, the veteran hasn’t found the end zone this year. The former Ole Miss star has the most targets in the NFL without a touchdown this season. The next closest player to Engram is Jonathan Mingo, with 55 targets.
Hopefully, the veteran tight end can find the end zone in Monday night’s matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals. Unfortunately, injuries have ruined the Bengals’ season. More importantly, Cincinnati has struggled to slow down opposing tight ends. They have surrendered 12.4 fantasy points per game to tight ends, the second-most in the NFL.
Furthermore, the Bengals gave up 12 receptions for 141 receiving yards and 20.1 fantasy points to the Pittsburgh Steelers tight ends last week – all season-highs. Hopefully, Engram can have a massive performance on Monday night.
