BALLER MOVE: Start in 12+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: RB2
ANALYSIS: Denver Broncos running back Javonte Williams was expected to miss the first few weeks of the season after suffering a severe knee injury last year. Yet, the third-year running back started Week 1 and played well. The former North Carolina star is the RB30 for the year, averaging 9.4 half-point PPR fantasy points per game.
Williams has 140 rushing attempts for 538 yards this season. Unfortunately, he hasn’t scored a rushing touchdown in 2023. However, the talented running back has played well in the passing game. He has 26 receptions for 131 receiving yards and two touchdowns this year.
However, the young running back has been in a slump lately. Over the past two weeks, Williams has 19 rushing attempts for 102 yards, zero touchdowns, five receptions, and 22 receiving yards, averaging 7.5 fantasy points per game.
Hopefully, he gets back on track this week against the Houston Texans. The AFC South team has held running back to 18.7 fantasy points per game, slightly above the league average. However, they have given up only 66.3 rushing yards and 13.3 fantasy points per game to running backs over the past three weeks. Yet, Williams is a solid RB2 option in Week 13.
