Travis Etienne Jr. Injury Update
Etienne (ribs) was limited in practice again on Friday. He's trending towards playing in Week 13 and might even avoid an injury designation if he's able to practice in full on Saturday. The Clemson product ranks as a mid-range fantasy RB1 versus Cincinnati.
Jonathan Taylor Injury Update
Taylor (thumb) did not practice this week and has officially been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Titans. While the star running back is headed for an extended absence, fantasy managers should be optimistic about the fact that the Colts didn't place him on IR. Until his return, Zack Moss will start at running back for Indianapolis, ranking as an RB2 in fantasy football.
Breece Hall Injury Update
Hall (hamstring) upgraded to a full participant in practice on Friday. He's officially listed as questionable for Week 13 but is trending in the right direction. Atlanta's run defense has been respectable this season, but Hall will rank as a high-end fantasy RB2 if active.
De'Von Achane Injury Update
Achane (knee) was removed from the injury report after logging a full practice on Friday. He will play against the Commanders in Week 13. The rookie has struggled to stay healthy this season, but it sounds like he's near 100 percent for the time being. Achane will rank as a fantasy RB2 versus Washington's porous run defense.
David Montgomery Injury Update
Montgomery (foot) logged another full practice on Friday. He has been removed from the injury report and will play against the New Orleans Saints in Week 13. Fantasy managers should view him as a mid-range RB2 option.
Raheem Mostert Injury Update
Mostert (ankle, knee) has been a limited participant in back-to-back practices. Despite not logging a full session, he will play in Week 13. The veteran has made frequent appearances on the injury report this season, but his consistent availability in games suggests that his limited practice status is merely precautionary. Mostert is a fantasy RB2 versus Washington.
D'Andre Swift Injury Update
Swift (ankle) logged a full practice on Friday. He has been removed from the injury report and will play in Week 13 versus the 49ers. Despite the unfavorable matchup, his versatility as a runner and receiver put him in the mid-to-low RB2 territory.
Aaron Jones Injury Update
Jones (knee) missed all three practices this week. He has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Chiefs, marking his fifth absence of the 2023 season. Between injuries and shaky performance, the veteran running back has been very tough to depend upon this year.
A.J. Dillon Injury Update
Dillon (groin) was a limited participant in practice on Friday. He has been removed from the injury report and will play against the Chiefs in Week 13. With Jones sidelined, Dillon is in line to handle lead-back duties for Green Bay. However, he has lacked efficiency on the ground this season and could struggle against a strong Chiefs defense. Dillon's saving grace is his passing game role, which vaults him into the high-end RB3 tier for fantasy purposes.
Kareem Hunt Injury Update
Hunt (groin) saw his practice status improve every day this week. He has officially been removed from the injury report, confirming his availability for Week 13 versus the Rams. With Joe Flacco starting in place of the injured Dorian Thompson-Robinson, Cleveland may need to depend on the running game if they have any chance of beating Los Angeles. Hunt should remain involved, especially in short-yardage situations, making him a fantasy RB3/FLEX option this week.
Dalvin Cook Injury Update
Cook (shoulder) popped up on the injury report Friday after logging a limited practice. He's officially questionable to play in Week 13. In fact, Hall, Cook, and Israel Abanikanda (illness) are all questionable, leaving New York with several questions at the running back position. This will be a situation to monitor as kickoff approaches.
Jerick McKinnon Injury Update
McKinnon (groin) logged back-to-back limited practices at the end of the week. He's officially listed as questionable for Week 13 versus the Packers. Given his clear backup role behind Isiah Pacheco, the veteran isn't a strong candidate for fantasy production, even if he plays.
Kendre Miller Injury Update
Miller (ankle) missed all three practices this week. He has been ruled out for Week 13 against the Lions, leaving Alvin Kamara and Jamaal Williams as New Orleans' only options out of the backfield. The former remains an appealing RB1 option despite a tricky matchup.
Chris Brooks Injury Update
Brooks (knee) was limited in practice all week long. He's officially questionable to play against the Commanders on Sunday, though the fact that he's currently on injured reserve complicates matters. Miami would need to activate him by 4 p.m. Eastern on Saturday in order for him to be eligible to play. Even if activated, the rookie could be a healthy scratch given his No. 4 role behind Mostert, Achane, and Jeff Wilson Jr.
Jordan Mason Injury Update
Mason (hamstring) upgraded to a limited participant in practice on Friday. He's officially questionable to face the Eagles on Sunday. The 24-year-old has totaled just 130 scrimmage yards through 11 contests and remains the No. 3 running back in San Francisco. He is not on the fantasy radar.
Israel Abanikanda Injury Update
Abanikanda (illness) is questionable to play in Week 13 versus Atlanta. He missed two consecutive practices before upgrading to a limited status on Friday. The rookie has a chance to back up Hall this week if Cook is inactive, but that would depend on Abanikanda suiting up, too. Fantasy managers should expect confirmation on his status around 11:30 a.m. Eastern on Sunday.
