BALLER MOVE: Start In 10-Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR2
ANALYSIS: Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp just hasn't been his usual self this season. After back-to-back 100-yard games in Week 5 and Week 6 in his season debut, Kupp's numbers have cratered. He hasn't had a single game with 50 or more receiving yards since.
In fact, in the past five weeks, Kupp has just one game with over 30 receiving yards, catching two passes for 48 yards in a loss to the Packers. In this five-game sample, Kupp is averaging six targets per game, but just 2.4 receptions for 25.4 yards.
Now, here's the thing: Cooper Kupp's still Cooper Kupp. We know what he's capable of, so it's hard to say that he needs to be sat in fantasy. A bounce-back performance is easily something we could see, even if it's not the best thing to bet on.
Fantasy managers should view Cooper Kupp as a low-end WR2 for fantasy purposes until we see him get back on track. That means you should still be starting him in most formats, but your expectations should be tempered a bit. Don't count on Kupp to single-handedly win you your matchup in Week 13.
