Treylon Burks Cleared To Play In Week 13
1 year agoTennessee Titans wide receiver Treylon Burks (concussion) was removed from Friday's final Week 13 injury report and he will play on Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts, according to head coach Mike Vrabel. Burks will finally put an end to his three-game absence from a concussion that he suffered in Week 9 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. His return is bad news for receivers Nick Westbrook-Ikhine and Kyle Philips, but they weren't realistic starting fantasy options to begin with in the time that Burks missed. The 23-year-old could have his snaps limited in his first game back, but he should eventually settle in as Tennessee's No. 2 wideout behind DeAndre Hopkins. It's a boost to rookie quarterback Will Levis if Burks can remain healthy the rest of the way. At best, Burks is a bench stash in deeper fantasy leagues. UPDATE: Burks is officially listed as questionable for Sunday.
