DK Metcalf Reaches End Zone Three Times
12 months agoSeattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf caught six of his eight targets for 134 yards and three touchdowns in Thursday's loss to the Dallas Cowboys. The scores doubled his season output and all of them came when he was marked by top-graded cornerback DaRon Bland. The first touchdown was an impressive catch-and-run on Seattle's fourth play of the game when Metcalf beat his coverage over the middle and turned on the jets, taking the ball 73 yards to the end zone making it the longest play for either side in the contest. After a lackluster start to the season, Metcalf may be heating up just in time for the fantasy playoffs, garnering 94 yards or more in three of his last four games. Next on deck is a rematch against the San Francisco 49ers who held Metcalf to three catches for 32 yards on Thanksgiving.
