We also have some mid-majors that could make noise this year in Liberty, Butler, UNC-Wilmington, Hofstra, and South Florida. We even have East Carolina, Hawaii, and UC Davis out of the Big West on here. Getting familiar with some of the schools off the beaten path can only help come March when conference tournaments give us some monster slates. Think of this as homework...but the fun kind.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 11/30/23, starting at 6 PM Eastern. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.
DraftKings CBB DFS Guards
Tyler Thomas, Hofstra ($9,200)
Thomas dropped 40 actual points on High Point last week the day after he dumped 30 on Wright State. I'm a little concerned about his having just over a week off. Hopefully, it doesn't cool him off too much. South Florida will be the best team the Pride has faced since Princeton about three weeks ago, but Thomas held his own in that one as well. He's not putting up a 66 DraftKings point monster again, but he's one of the few that could land in the 40s tonight.
Elijah Pepper, UC-Davis ($8,100)
This is a bit of a premium to pay for a mid-major player against a Power-Five school, but Pepper might just be worth it. He plays a ton of minutes and scores a ton of points. He has at least 20 points in all five games the Aggies have played this season. We're not just relying on him for points either. Pepper has at least six rebounds in four of the five games. I like this for the lower ownership in a larger field GPP.
Jalen Gaffney, Florida Atlantic ($5,700)
Gaffney replaced the struggling Bryan Greenlee in the starting lineup three games ago and has responded with 77 DraftKings points in the three games. He is playing 30+ minutes per game in this role and is making his presence felt due to his sneaky-good passing skills and solid rebounding. Gaffney has also proven to be an efficient scorer. Greenlee is excelling off the bench, so expect the Owls to keep this switch up for the time being. Both players are worth using right now.
Bobby Pettiford, East Carolina ($5,100)
The Kansas transfer is finally seeing meaningful minutes at the collegiate level, but he is still having problems with consistency. He has been an efficient shooter but is sometimes too shy in taking his shots. Pettiford garners a few more assists because of that right now, but his true worth for the Pirates will be his volume scoring. When he gets hot, look out.

DraftKings CBB DFS Forwards
Brandon Johnson, East Carolina ($7,600)
The upper tier of forwards feels shaky at best tonight, so I'll pay up more at guard. The only exception is Johnson. Johnson is a double-double threat every time he takes the court. He should have no problems hauling in the rebounds over the undersized Seahawks. Let's just hope that he hits enough of his single-digit shot attempts to get that bonus.
Trazarien White, UNC-Wilmington ($6,900)
White picks up a lot of points without a lot of shots. He is also a good rebounder and active on the defensive end. Wilmington has a puncher's chance at winning this game outright. If they are to go that, White is going to have to have a big game. He has scored almost 19 points per game so far in the early going. The price is right to see if he can do it against slightly better competition.
Devan Cambridge, Texas Tech ($5,600)
Cambridge is a good shooter and is good at getting to the foul line on top of being a good rebounder. The Arizona State transfer has been playing good minutes for the Red Raiders of late. He is capable of hitting 30+ DraftKings points on any given night if he gets hot. That's a strong upside for a player priced in his range.
Keba Keita, Utah ($4,600)
Keita returned after missing the last two games with a strong performance against St. Mary's. Keita won't play a ton of minutes for the Utes and the lack of shots in his 14 minutes was a little disappointing. However, he still piled up six rebounds and added at least one of everything else. The shots will come, which means Keita will be back to a favorite value play due to his high-intensity minutes.
