Welcome to Gameweek 14, RotoBallers! This is our third year covering FPL, and we are bringing you more coverage than ever. We publish two weekly articles: a staff roundtable preview and our weekly rankings. Then, once a month, we have our newest report, The Watchlist, a review of the previous month and a look ahead to the upcoming fixtures.
Thirteen gameweeks down, 25 to go. With European fixtures back on the calendar, we will have a split Gameweek 14 schedule between Saturday and Sunday. Newcastle United and Manchester United headline Saturday's contests in the late game. Then Sunday's tilts include an intriguing Chelsea-Brighton tie before Manchester City and Tottenham wrap up the weekend. Don't forget we've got a midweek Gameweek 15, and it'll be a quick turnaround for our FPL squads.
The Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 14 deadline is 8:30 AM ET on Saturday, December 2, when three Saturday afternoon games kick-off. Also, look out for the rest of our excellent soccer coverage as the squad gets you all set for every English Premier League, Major League Soccer, and UEFA Champions League slate from a DFS and betting perspective.
Fantasy Premier League - Gameweek 14 Rankings
Our weekly rankings highlight players who could be worth a punt in your Fantasy Premier League squad. While the rankings will be filled with familiar names, a low-owned player with an easy fixture will rise up the one-week charts. For each gameweek, we will provide our top 15 goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders, and forwards. These can also be applied as DFS rankings for your weekend contests.
Gameweek 13 Fantasy Premier League High Scorers
- Goalkeeper: Andre Onana, Manchester United - 13 points
- Defender: Diogo Dalot, Manchester United - 12 points
- Midfielder: Marcus Tavernier, Bournemouth - 16 points
- Forward: Joao Pedro, Brighton - 13 points
FPL Goalkeepers - Gameweek 14 Rankings
- Alisson Becker (muscle) is injured for at least the next three gameweeks but will be replaced by Caomihn Kelleher (£3.9m). It's an enticing option with a terrific run of fixtures (FUL, shu, cry) over the next week, but it could lock us out of grabbing another Liverpool attacker and also book in a transfer. If you have Mohamed Salah and Kostas Tsimikas, I would avoid Kelleher, but he's worth a punt if you've only got the Egyptian King on your roster.
- It's do-or-die time for Alphonse Areola in Gameweek 14. Many FPL managers want to ship him off but want one more bite at the clean sheet apple versus Crystal Palace. If he comes through, I reckon he'll earn a stay of execution, but another one or two-point effort with see the West Ham keeper sold faster than a Black Friday sale ahead of Gameweek 15.

FPL Defenders - Gameweek 14 Rankings
- Trent Alexander-Arnold scored the game-tying goal on Saturday versus Manchester City, but FPL managers should hesitate before rushing back to the premium asset. With a terrific run of fixtures, this is a chance for TAA to prove he's entirely back to his FPL best, but his price tag is still too rich for those of us with Erling Haaland, Mohamed Salah, and Son Heung-min in our lineups.
- Charlie Taylor is one of the most popular bench assets in FPL but deserves some starting-lineup love in Gameweek 14. There's no better fixture on the FPL calendar this season than Sheffield United at home. If Taylor can come through with a clean sheet and maybe another cheeky return like Gameweek 10, the 30-year-old would write himself into FPL lore.

FPL Midfielders - Gameweek 14 Rankings
- Mohamed Salah versus Erling Haaland is the most significant captaincy debate ahead of Gameweek 14. For me, it's Salah. The Egyptian averages 10.3 FPL PPG at Anfield, and he's scored 16, eight, and 16 points in his previous three home tilts.
- Bukayo Saka isn't generating the expected goals we want to see from premium FPL assets, but there should be a glimmer of hope this weekend. Arsenal has been awarded the most penalties this campaign, and Wolves have conceded the most spot kicks. Saka's given them up at times this year, but he's in a bit of a dry spell, and the England international would love to convert a penalty to get him over the hump in Gameweek 14.

FPL Forwards - Gameweek 14 Rankings
- On Thursday, Ollie Watkins was left out of Aston Villa's European squad, and FPL Twitter went into a frenzy. Manager Unai Emery confirmed Watkins was carrying a knock but also mentioned the need to rest his star attacker. With Bournemouth coming ahead of a double date with Man City and Arsenal, it wouldn't be surprising to see Watkins hit the bench as a precaution with the festive fixture period turning into high gear.
- It's difficult to understand how Everton did not score against Man United last weekend, but here we are. Dominic Calvert-Lewin looked back to his old self and was very dangerous in the air and on the ground. It only feels like a matter of time before it all comes together for the Everton forward, and a date with Nottingham Forest may get DCL back on the scoresheet.
