Noah Brown Injury Update for Fantasy Football
Brown (knee) was unable to practice last week. As a result, he was ruled out for Sunday's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The 27-year-old impressed with 325 yards and one touchdown over his last two games but hasn't been able to play since Week 10.
The Texans have not put the 27-year-old on Injured Reserve, which is a good sign for a return as soon as Week 13. We'll have to monitor his practice reports heading into the matchup with the Denver Broncos in order to gauge his chances to play.
Hopefully, he can participate in practice, but the Texans might still list him as "questionable" at the end of the week. Stay tuned for updates.
Noah Brown Fantasy Football Outlook
Although Brown delivered two huge performances in Week 9 and Week 10, his outlook for the rest of the season is murky. Robert Woods was out in Week 9, and Nico Collins was out in Week 10. For most of this season, Collins, Woods, and Tank Dell have operated as C.J. Stroud's top three wide receivers.
However, there's a chance Brown's boom weeks will force to Texans to give him more run, especially since the aging Woods has been largely unimpressive. Brown is worth rostering in at least deep leagues, but fantasy managers might want to monitor his usage in his first game back before trusting him in their lineups.
