Jordan Poole Ruled Out Late On Saturday Night
1 year agoWashington Wizards guard Jordan Poole (ankle) was a late scratch for Saturday's loss to the Atlanta Hawks. Fantasy managers were surprised to see him listed as out right around lock time. However, head coach Wes Unseld Jr. reported that the former Warrior "tweaked" his left ankle during pregame warm-ups, allowing Corey Kispert to take his spot in the starting lineup. That said, the Wizards play again on Monday in Detroit, so some rest could give Poole enough time to be ready. However, if he misses his second game of the 2023-24 campaign, Kispert would presumably continue to fill the void in the lineup.
