Khalil Herbert Likely To Lead Bears' Backfield In Week 12
1 year agoChicago Bears running back Khalil Herbert had an underwhelming return in Week 11, managing just 35 rushing yards on 16 carries and an additional six yards from two receptions. Despite the lackluster performance, the 25-year-old commanded the majority of opportunities in the running back room, totaling 18 touches compared to Roschon Johnson and D'Onta Foreman's six each. Foreman enters Week 12 with a questionable tag due to an ankle injury suffered in the previous week's loss. Regardless of Foreman's availability, Herbert is poised to once again lead the backfield in touches. Facing the Minnesota Vikings, who rank 22nd for points allowed to running backs this season, Herbert emerges as a viable RB3/flex option for Week 12. The potential volume enhances Herbert's fantasy appeal, making him a notable consideration for fantasy managers.

Khalil Herbert Has A Solid Showing Versus The Steelers
3 months agoCincinnati Bengals running back Khalil Herbert got the start for the injured Chase Brown (ankle) in Saturday's crucial win over the Steelers. The 26-year-old, who was acquired by the Bengals in November, had played sparingly since arriving in Cincinnati. However, he did exactly what was needed on Saturday night, running for 69 yards off 20 carries while adding seven catches for 14 yards. The Bengals still have a shot at the postseason. But if Herbert's season is finished, he'll likely draw interest from at least a few teams in free agency. With that said, unless he gets a meaningful role in 2025-26, his fantasy upside will remain capped.

Khalil Herbert May Need To Take Over In Week 18
3 months agoCincinnati Bengals running back Khalil Herbert has barely seen any action since being traded by the Chicago Bears in November. He's appeared in seven games for the Bengals this season. However, he has only eight carries for 45 yards and one catch for seven yards to show for it. But with Chase Brown (ankle) questionable for the Week 18 matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Herbert may take over as the No. 1 option out of the backfield. The 26-year-old was once one of the most promising young backs in the National Football League, giving him some upside on Saturday. Still, his presence in any fantasy lineup isn't without risk.

Khalil Herbert Gets Some Work In Week 17
3 months agoCincinnati Bengals running back Khalil Herbert had 23 yards off four carries in Saturday's win over the Broncos. Chase Brown (ankle) had another solid fantasy showing, going for 67 yards on the ground off 20 touches and adding four grabs for 24 yards. However, with Brown suffering an ankle injury late in the contest, Herbert got some meaningful work. With that said, there's a chance Brown may not be healthy enough to play in Week 18 versus the Steelers. If that's the case, Herbert will enter the flex conversation while emerging as a DFS value option.

Khalil Herbert Doesn't See The Field Much In Bengals Debut
5 months agoCincinnati Bengals running back Khalil Herbert was traded from Chicago on Tuesday before the trade deadline. It was surprising that the team activated him for his first game after just two days of practice. He only played 2% of the offensive snaps and didn't register any touches in the box score. He did fumble the hand-off on one play but was able to recover it. He'll have some extra time with the team and the playbook as the Bengals take on the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday night in Week 11.
