Miami Dolphins running back Jeff Wilson Jr. saw his biggest workload of the year in the Week 12 win over the New York Jets on Friday, just a week after being a healthy scratch. Rookie De'Von Achane (knee) was inactive, leading to Wilson carrying the ball 11 times for 56 yards (5.1 yards per carry) and catching all three of his targets for an additional 17 yards. Wilson looked fresh and explosive after missing the first six weeks of the season with an injury. He was actually outperforming lead back Raheem Mostert until Mostert scored twice on the ground in the second half. The 28-year-old should remain involved in this backfield, but his touch count could suffer once Achane is deemed healthy enough to play again. Wilson probably won't be a viable flex play in deeper leagues once Achane is back.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

Miami Dolphins running back Jeff Wilson Jr. (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the New England Patriots. He had recovered from a rib injury but evidently doesn't have a spot on Miami's gameday roster with Raheem Mostert returning to the fold and both De'Von Achane and Jaylen Wright playing well. Going forward, Wilson will likely be stashed on the Dolphins' roster as mere depth in the event that any other running backs miss time due to injury. Wilson can be dropped in all fantasy leagues.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBaller

Miami Dolphins running back Jeff Wilson Jr. (knee) suffered a knee injury during pre-game warmups on Monday night and is questionable to play against the Tennessee Titans at Hard Rock Stadium. Raheem Mostert (chest) was already ruled out for this game for the third straight week, so if Wilson doesn't play, rookie Jaylen Wright could see a healthy amount of touches as the change-of-pace back behind starter De'Von Achane. Among Miami's four running backs, the 28-year-old Wilson is the least intriguing fantasy option, especially after this injury. In the first four games of 2024, Wilson has only eight carries for 40 yards and has caught two passes for 12 yards. Wright rushed only twice for 17 yards in last week's loss to the Seattle Seahawks and doesn't have as much upside now in single-year formats with the Dolphins down to quarterback Tyler Huntley. However, his explosive abilities and intriguing upside still make him worth stashing in deeper fantasy leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

Miami Dolphins running back Jeff Wilson Jr. will face a challenging Tennessee Titans defense when the two teams square off on Monday Night Football. With backfield mate Raheem Mostert (chest) labeled as questionable, Wilson Jr. could again split time with rookie Jaylen Wright behind De'Von Achane. Mostert's main issue at this point is reportedly pain management, and if he could play, Wilson would be relegated to a decreased role. In Week 3, the 27-year-old saw 14 snaps to Wright's 13 and finished with one more carry (3) and three fewer yards (14) than the fourth-round rookie. Neither was targeted in the passing game. In Week 4, the team will turn to already its fourth QB when Tyler Huntley makes his first start. Recently signed off the Baltimore Ravens practice squad, Huntley gives Miami another element in their rushing attack that defenses must account for. With his lack of experience in the Dolphins offense, head coach Mike McDaniel likely installed a scaled-back game plan that involves a heavy rushing attack against a particularly formidable Titans pass defense. However, some of those carries will undoubtedly go Huntley's way, meaning less overall volume for Dolphins running backs. Wilson is a low-end, low-floor FLEX ahead of Monday night.--Alex Ciulla

Miami Dolphins running back Jeff Wilson Jr. (oblique) was removed from the team's final injury report on Friday and will be active for the Week 3 contest on Sunday on the road at Lumen Field against the Seattle Seahawks. Wilson picked up a minor oblique injury in last Thursday's loss to the division-rival Buffalo Bills and was limited in practice on Wednesday before being full go on Thursday and Friday. Raheem Mostert (chest) is doubtful to play this weekend, so both Wilson and rookie Jaylen Wright should see more touches behind De'Von Achane, albeit in an offense now being run by quarterback Skylar Thompson. With Mostert out in Week 2, Wilson played only 14% of the offensive snaps and caught both of his targets for 12 yards. Wright is the better long-term upside stash in deeper fantasy leagues, and Wilson won't be a starting option this Sunday, even with Mostert likely out again.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
