Miami Dolphins linebacker Jaelan Phillips (leg) might be looking at an extended absence after being carted off the field in Friday's Week 12 contest against the New York Jets in the fourth quarter after suffering a non-contact injury. Phillips didn't appear to be in good spirits after being carted off. He could be dealing with a torn Achilles or torn ACL, which would both keep him out for the remainder of the 2023 campaign. Before the serious injury, the 24-year-old had three tackles and a sack against the Jets. Phillips' injury will be a serious one for the Dolphins defense, as he entered the day second on the team with 5.5 sacks. The third-year linebacker also had 39 tackles (25 solo), four tackles for loss, nine QB hits and an interception entering Friday's game. UPDATE: Phillips was listed with an Achilles injury.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
