Tyler Conklin Can't Be Trusted Despite Solid Matchup
1 year agoNew York Jets tight end Tyler Conklin has seen inconsistent utilization through the first 11 weeks of the season and will hope to be involved in a Week 12 matchup against the Miami Dolphins. Last week, Conklin posted fewer targets, receptions, and yards than second-year pro Jeremy Ruckert. It's unclear if the Jets intend to give Ruckert TE1 duties going forward but it seems possible with much of New York's offense in flux. Quarterback Zach Wilson has been benched for Tim Boyle, making it even more difficult to depend on Conklin on Friday. Although the Dolphins surrender the 11th-most fantasy points per game to tight ends, fantasy managers should look elsewhere this week.
