Christian Watson Gets Back On Track Against Detroit
12 months agoGreen Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson caught five of seven targets for 94 yards and a touchdown during the team's 29-22 win over the Detroit Lions. After struggling for weeks, the second-year receiver finally got back on track against the struggling Detroit pass defense and found the end zone for the second week in a row. Watson's biggest play was a 16-yard touchdown reception late in the third quarter that put the Packers up by 15. Jayden Reed caught a touchdown in this game as well and led the team in targets, but Watson was able to be more involved than Romeo Doubs and was much more effective. While fantasy managers should have more confidence in the former first-round pick moving forward, they will need to keep their expectations in check next week when the Packers host the Kansas City Chiefs.
