Jonathan Quick Logs Shutout No. 60
1 year agoNew York Rangers goaltender Jonathan Quick became the first U.S.-born netminder with 60 NHL shutouts when he shut the door on Pittsburgh Wednesday night in a 1-0 win. He pushed away 32 pucks as Quick improved to 5-0-1 for the campaign. The veteran has been a rock-solid backup for the Rangers with a 1.68 goals-against average and a .940 save percentage, posting two shutouts. Four of Quick's appearances have come this month as Igor Shesterkin has battled a lower-body injury.
